Customer Service-Order Processor

We are now on a determined path to growth leading to great opportunities for personal and career growth. We are looking for a detailed and self-directed Order Processor.

The Order Processor will be responsible for producing sales quotes and order entry processing.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Quote and order entry processing; resource allocation, accuracy, on-time processing
  • Enter orders and distribute paperwork to appropriate parties
  • Distribute quotes & correspond with appropriate parties (sales management, Account Managers, and clients)
  • Ensure all information is available for shipping of product (W9)
  • Handle service orders
  • Ensuring that Arconas’ meeting rooms and the Literature room are maintained in a safe and presentable fashion
  • Other related customer service tasks

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education is an asset
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Must have a very good command of MS Office (particularly Excel and Typing speed 50 w.p.m.)
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Must have previous experience entering data in ERP accounting software
  • “Can do” attitude and ability to multitask is very important for this position
  • Experience in the contract furniture industry will be considered an asset
  • Basic knowledge and/or understanding of AutoCAD or other design software is beneficial
  • Able to meet tight deadlines

Physical requirements

  • Ordinary office setting physical demands, sitting, and working on a computer for extended periods of times
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • At times there may be the requirement to use a step ladder
