Design Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Design Coordinator who is smart, creative and having a point of view.

This position reports to the Director of Design and Marketing

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support for sales projects that includes furniture layouts, site visits when requested by local clients, and execution of appropriate documentation
  • Will create 3D renderings showcasing the product in a client’s space, advertisement, and shows
  • Responsible for grading in new fabrics and the coordinating of the testing of such fabrics
  • Produce CAD drawings from planning through permitted construction plans (for office
  • renovations)
  • Assist management with building layouts of key work areas throughout the warehouse and office
  • Ability to translate Solid Works models into Revit models
  • Coordinate photorealistic renderings with appropriate vendors
  • Maintain literature library by replenishing inventory and liaising with our Buyers to order samples
  • Assist sales staff with trade show literature, booth layouts, and fabric selection
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to organize literature in both the library and shelving
  • units in the R&D department
  • Create an inviting showroom using space planning techniques.
  • Refresh samples with fabric/finish selections that complement the products and overall appearance of the room
  • Assist with other projects as assigned


  • Degree or Diploma in Interior Design
  • 3-5 years experience in the production of plan layouts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other related space planning/rendering programs
  • Ability to translate Solid Works models into Revit models preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong graphic presentation skills using space planning, rendering, and digital presentation software preferred
  • Strong artistic skills including hand drafting and sketching capabilities preferred
