Aerea and Place at Moncton’s Aerial Lounge offers passengers a place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the views before boarding for their flight.
The Greater Moncton International Airport has created a new passenger lounge for all passengers to enjoy. All flights operate out of the main terminal with the ticketing lobby, hold rooms and baggage claim on ground level. Airport operators wanted to offer passengers another space, resembling a VIP lounge without the « entry fee ». A quiet, unencumbered space for passengers to soak up the views, the daylight and relax before taking off. So the airport manager approached Arconas asking us to define the space with lounge seating and seating that has built-in power modules. The perfect match was made with Aerea lounge and Place public seating. Aerea lounge is a softer-sit and at 30-inches wide provide passengers more wiggle room. Place tandem seating was also installed around the perimeter of the mezzanine. Considered the next-generation of public seating, Place delivers comfort and practicality in an elegant new design. With integrated power and USB at every seat, generous tablet arms, drink holders, under-seat storage — and plenty of personal space — Place lets travellers work, read, game or consume media in style.
Frankly, I can’t think of any better way to spend my time at an airport. To learn more sbout Moncton’s aerial lounge, click here. To learn more about Aerea and Place, click here.
