Arconas recently installed PLACE Power Station in the new South Terminal at Denver International Airport. Over 700 passengers now have the ability to wait in style and comfort while working, emailing, gaming, browsing, eating and meeting. Each Place seat position is fully equipped, having an AC outlet, 2 USB ports, tablet arm, drink holder, and added personal space. The goal for providing high-level passenger amenities was top of mind for Gensler’s architectural team and the terminal operators. Denver is one of the first airports that allows passengers to order concessions from the comfort of their seat. Passengers can order food and drinks from their personal iPad while waiting for their flight to take-off. This level of customer service, combined with the world-class hotel connected to the airport, and the high speed rail system connecting the airport to the downtown core sets a new standard for international airports.
