GFC and Auweko Furniture Installed at Pearson Airport

Over the past year, Arconas has partnered with several top European brands as the exclusive distributor to airports throughout the Americas. Arconas recently installed furniture from two of these brands, Green Furniture Concept from Sweden, and Auweko from Germany, at Pearson International Airport in Toronto.

 

Travelers passing through terminal 3 are now greeted by three 10 ft tall Leaf Lamp trees from Green Furniture’s acoustic decorative lighting series. The whimsical leaf lamps are made from natural materials, including thin, unbleached wool felt leaves that are fire-retardant, anti-static, and absorb sound to reduce noise levels. The wool leaves are attached to birch branches that are arranged differently in each tree to mimic natural foliage.

In the same area are four Auweko waste and recycling bins from the company’s ‘Temptation’ series. These units are made from stainless steel and are fire proof, vandalism resistant, and highly durable.
