Corporate Management

Dan Nussbaum


Dan Nussbaum has been the President of Arconas since 2005. He oversees the strategic direction of Arconas and works closely with the whole team to ensure that clients’ expectations are being exceeded.

Prior to this role, Dan was worked for Palliser Furniture, where he spent three years working as General Manager in Bangkok, Thailand. Dan was also Managing Director for, a worldwide distributor of digital images for the film, television and music industries.

Dan has a BA from Goshen College and an MBA from the London Business School.

Pablo Reich

Executive Vice President

Pablo Reich's career is founded on extensive international experience, having traveled and conducted business in over 45 countries. Although Pablo is involved in every aspect of Arconas' business, his primary focus is leading the sales, marketing, and design teams to provide customers with the highest level of service and offer the best product solutions on each project.

Prior to joining Arconas, Pablo spent 3 years as Chief Operating Officer with JYSK Canada and 9 years with Palliser Furniture in various managerial and executive roles. Originally from Argentina, Pablo holds a BA (Advertising) from F.A.E.C.C, as well as an MBA from the University of Manitoba.

Airport Solutions Team

Lynn Gordon

Vice President, Airport Solutions

Lynn Gordon is the Vice President of Airport Solutions at Arconas. In 2000, Lynn created the dedicated Airport Solutions Division, a group of sales and project management professionals specialized in the unique requirements of airports. In that time, she has worked on some 300 airport installations in North America and across the globe, including LAX, SFO, DFW, BOS, ORD, DEN, ATL, PANYNJ, YVR, YOW, Hong Kong, Quito, Lisbon and many others.

Prior to joining Arconas, Lynn headed the Pacific Region of Airports Council International (ACI), served on the Board of the YVR Art Foundation, and held a senior marketing management position with Ernst & Young. She is a graduate of the University of Ottawa.

Lynn’s passion is aviation and airports. She is the official representative for Arconas to both the Airports Council International (ACI) and the Association of American Airport Executives (AAAE) and served as the 2013-14 Vice-Chair of the ACI-North America Associates Board of Directors (2011-14). Lynn's commitment to the global aviation industry continues as she currently serves on the ACI World Business Partner Advisory Board for 2015-18.

Through her work with ACI and Arconas, Lynn has more than 20 years of experience in the airport industry and is acknowledged for her expertise in terminal interiors and passenger services.

Krista Tapley

Sales Manager, Airport Solutions

Krista Tapley is the Sales Manager-Airport Solutions at Arconas. Since 2004, Krista has been providing experienced project management for Arconas’ 300+ airport installations, from airports such as ORD, MCO, JAX, PWM, AZA, YYZ, YOW, SAT, GTF, etc.

Krista brings more than 10 years of customer service and operations/logistics management experience to Arconas, working with airport clients all over the world. Her educational background in business, marketing, and design enables her to work closely with clients to bring a strong sense of business, cost effectiveness, and creativity to each project. One of her greatest assets is her ability to help clients find what will work best for them. Her collaborative approach not only helps clients to find the right products for their needs, but to also find the best uses in the best locations within the airport to help increase the customer experience and thus helping the airport to provide first class customer service.

Krista adds a fresh perspective to the company's team of airport specialists, keeping up with the constantly evolving airport industry. Krista currently serves on the Corporate Committee for American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and on the Annual Conference Planning Committees for Airport Consultants Council (ACC). She has also been actively promoting the Young Professionals programs at ACC and AAAE. Her understanding of the value of mentorship was the driving force behind her internal Coaches Corner: a program that she has established within her group where she spends one hour every quarter with each of her staff members mentoring them in an area of their choice, anywhere from product information to client outreach/marketing.

Gladys Mitsuy

Sales Support, Airport Solutions

Gladys Mitsuy joined Arconas in 2008 with more than 26 years in the airport industry. This experience is invaluable in her role as Sales Support for the Airport Solutions team. Gladys monitors order input, production, customer service, providing end-to-end client support.

Originally from Peru, South America, she has worked in a wide variety of positions, including call centre management, baggage handling, customer service and with an international equipment manufacturer. Her ability to speak both English and Spanish is also a great asset when working with international clients.

Commercial Sales

Sherry Martin

Commercial Sales Manager

Sherry Martin has been with Arconas since 2002, and holds the position of Commercial Sales Manager, working with our commercial clients. Sherry’s prior position with Arconas was a Customer Service Manager. This allows her to have a broad view of clients’ needs, both from a pre- and post-sales perspective.

Working with clients in the healthcare, judicial and educational industries as well as various government entities, Sherry enjoys building strong relationships with her contacts, providing them with the perfect seating solution for their space.

Alexandra Barbu

Business Development Executive - Commercial Solutions

As business development executive, Alexandra is responsible for increasing Arconas' market share in the Commercial business, primarily targeting Healthcare, Education, Corporate and Community.

Alexandra holds a graphic design degree, Bachelors of Design from OCAD University. Prior to joining Arconas she worked for various companies in customer service roles, including, Design within Reach, Structube and Artemano. Alexandra also speaks French and Romanian.

Regional Sales

Farzad Vafajoo

International Sales Executive

Farzad has extensive international experience in the commercial furniture industry, having traveled and conducted business in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America. Prior to joining Arconas, Farzad spent 5 years as Business Development Manager with REZCO and Iran Pension Fund in various project developments including hotel, public hall, and commercial furniture supplies. Originally from Iran, Middle East, Farzad holds an MA in Applied English from University of Isfahan.

Scott Jelliman

Ontario Sales Representative

As the Ontario Sales Representative, Scott is responsible for managing all sales activities within the province of Ontario for both Airport and Commercial accounts. This role involves maintaining relationships with clients, developing new business opportunities, promoting the company’s position in the industry, and planning and implementing sales/networking programs.

Before joining Arconas, Scott spent 2 years with Staples Advantage Canada as a Manager of Business Development, and 5 years at State Industrial as a District Manager. Scott holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.

Donna Cook

Regional Sales Manager - Western Canada & Pacific Northwest

Donna has 20 years of Customer Service, Project Management and Logistics experience. After receiving her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University in Montreal, she spent 10 years working for Future Shop/Best Buy corporate office in many capacities including as a project manager in customer service and reverse logistics. She also worked in the Horticulture and Landscape Design industry in project management and sales. Donna brings to the commercial furnishings industry a strong background in project management, customer service, and sales as well as business-to-business relations. Donna speaks both English and French.

Mercedes Li

Customer Service Coordinator

Mercedes' has a diverse educational background that includes Bio-Chemistry, Medical Office Assistance and Tourism. Her background also includes over ten years of experience in Office Administration and Bookkeeping.

Before joining Arconas, Mercedes worked for several manufacturing companies including metalwork machine distribution, wholesale jewelry, and an importing company in Montreal. Mercedes also speaks Spanish, French, and Chinese.

Danielle has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto in Social Cultural Anthropology as well a post graduate certificate in Marketing Management from Sheridan College. She also has a background in customer service from her time working at Cineplex and Starbucks.

Corporate Services

Dorothy Tapley

Contracts Manager

In 2000, Dorothy joined Arconas as the Controller and Human Resources Manager.

Prior to joining Arconas, Dorothy was head of the Finance Department and Secretary-Treasurer of Tekpak Group of companies for 15 years. In the role she oversaw several branch offices in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, New York, and New Jersey.

Dorothy’s background in finance and labour law has provided her with the experience so valuable today in her role as Contract Manager. Dorothy is also responsible for Insurance certifications and claims as well as Performance Bonding at Arconas.

Michael Perrin

Human Resources Manager

Michael is responsible for all Human Resources functions at Arconas. This includes leadership development, compensation, benefit design and administration, health and safety, employee development and staffing management, performance management, diversity, employee relations and ethics and compliance.

Before joining Arconas, Michael spent over 15 years as the Manager, Human Resources for New York Fries/South St. Burger – a Canadian leader in foodservice. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick and a post-graduate diploma in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College.

Michael is an active member of the Human Resources Professionals Association and since 2004 has held the designation as a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL).

Yashesh Shah

ERP Administrator

As the Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) Systems Administrator at Arconas, Yash manages the flow of internal computer software programs.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting he completed a Diploma in Computer Software development.

Prior to joining Arconas, Yashesh worked in the Finance Department at Kii Naturals Inc. for 6 years.

Amanpreet Sidhu

IT Assistant

As the IT Assistant, Amanpreet's major function is to assist in the IT department for the installation, operation and maintenance of computer systems and other technologies such as communication systems. Part of her responsibilities include configuring hardware and software, setting up equipment such as printers or routers, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users.

Amanpreet holds a Diploma in Computer Systems Technician- Software Engineering from Sheridan college.

Marketing and Design

Emily OGorman

Marketing Coordinator

As the Marketing Coordinator for Arconas, Emily oversees all aspects of the company's marketing and brand strategy including social media, website maintenance, graphic design, print, and copy writing.

Emily holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration - Marketing, from Sheridan College, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of Waterloo. Prior to joining Arconas she worked for a digital marketing agency in Mississauga, and for the Region of Halton.

Arpana Vashisht

Design Coordinator

As Design Coordinator for Arconas, Arpana coordinates design projects and produces AutoCAD layouts for our clients based on industry standards and building code requirements.

Arpana holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Sheridan college. Prior to joining Arconas, she worked in the hospitality sector with Best Western International as junior Interior Designer.

Finance & Accounting

Ray Vella

Finance Director

Ray has over 35 years of Financial experience in a Manufacturing and R&D environment. He is a CPA, CGA in good-standing since 1997.

He was the Controller at Delphax Technologies for the last 20 years. Major areas of strength include, inventory control, analytical reporting, budgeting, project reporting, government funding programs and foreign subsidiary consolidation.

Being a firm believer that everyone should give back to the community Ray has participated in the Ride to Conquer Cancer epic 200+ KM journey the last nine years.

Mynor Ovando

Assistant Controller

Mynor Ovando has been with Arconas since 2007. He is an Accounting Analyst with both an Accounting Diploma from Centennial College and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Ryerson University.

Before joining Arconas, Mynor worked in the finance group at Santa Maria Foods Corporation for 4 years.

Tahmina Khwajaomary

Senior Accountant

Tahmina holds a diploma in Finance from Sheridan College and is currently pursuing her CPA designation. Prior to joining Arconas, Tahmina worked as an accountant at coinamatic group of companies and as an accounting analyst at Capstone infrastructure, a public firm based in downtown Toronto.

Gopinath Shanmukarajah

Accounting Assistant

After completing his studies in the Business Administration program at the University of Guelph-Humber in early 2015, Gopinath joined the financial department for his internship and then was hired to work full-time at Arconas.

Prior to joining the accounting department, Gopinath worked in Arconas' production department.


Lowell Hendricks

Vice President Operations

Lowell Hendricks has worked in the furniture industry for over 30 years. He started working in the upholstery stripping department of Prestige Furniture and Upholstery while still in high school and developed a keen interest in the design and manufacture of furniture. In 1988, Lowell joined the Arconas team and has held a variety of positions from upholstering and production, to purchasing, to his current position as Vice President of Operations. He has played a vital role in the development of our extensive product line and is focused on bringing the next great design to market

Lowell enjoys working with designers and vendors to create unique and innovative products that enhance our customer’s environments and gets great satisfaction in overseeing a project from inception to completion.

He is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Major in Labour Management and minor in Economics and Sociology. Lowell’s enthusiasm comes from increasing inventory turns and production output. His contribution has assisted Arconas in becoming a global leader in furniture for public seating.

Paul Goode

Operations Manager

Paul’s educational background is in Industrial Design, and he has spent the past 15 years in the custom fabrication industry utilizing his skills in computer aided design and project management, with a passion for design and innovation.

Paul is a detail-oriented person who sets high standards for himself and achieves his objectives with diligent processes, organization, and integrity.

Trevor Gillett

Waste and Recycling Manager

Aaron Fung

R & D Manager

Aaron Fung joined Arconas in 2016 as a R&D Manager. He oversees the product development and QC team. Prior to joining Arconas, he obtained 10 years of experience in the contract furniture industry as a design engineer at Teknion where he worked with multiple renowned industrial designers and architects. The collaborations translated to multiple Neocon awards.

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineer from the University of Toronto and is a registered P.Eng. in the province of Ontario.

Jason Wilson


Jason joined Arconas in 2006. Prior to this he worked in the transportation industry in a variety of positions, including data entry and accounting. Jason is a graduate of Humber College, and holds BBA with a major in Marketing.

Gary Liu

Logistics Coordinator

Gary Liu is in charge of the arrangement of all Arconas’ inbound & outbound freight movements, domestically and internationally. Gary has nearly 20 years of experience in international Freight Forwarding/ Logistics, International Customs and Import/Export. He plays an import role in the logistics coordination with Arconas’ transportation service providers and oversea suppliers.

Gary Liu has an MBA from University of Illinois at Chicago and Master Degree from Northeastern University, China.

Jason Acheampong

Mechanical/Electrical Draftsperson

In this role Jason creates drawings in Solidworks and supports the engineering department by providing timely drawings to customers, operations, productions, marketing and sales.

Jason holds an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Sheridan College. He also has experience in design engineering, has 2 years of experience as quality control engineer, and is fluent in French.

Albert Kurniawan

Electrical Hardware Designer

Albert joined Arconas in 2016 and works with the R&D department specifically in the area of power development. He has 9 years of prior experience in electrical test engineering for integrated circuit devices and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Indonesia.

Leonardo Bravo

Purchasing Coordinator

As the Purchasing Coordinator, Leonardo is responsible for the efficiency of the procurement process, and confers regularly with managers to determine the materials needed and ensure that they are delivered promptly.

Leonardo holds a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineer and MBA (Marketing) in Cuba. He has over 10 years of experience in Procurement/Purchase, Logistics and Supply Chain (ERP, worldwide distributions network, import and export procedures, warehouses, worldwide third party services, customer services, cost, KPI’s, S&OP, etc.). The latest 9 years he worked in Pernod Ricard, the second largest worldwide distributor of spirits and beverages.

Sarat Puduri

Product Specialist

Sarat graduated from Ryerson University with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining Arconas he work for four years as a Design/Product Engineer, designing conveyor systems for beverage, agricultural and chemical industries. He has a thorough knowledge of Solidworks, especially sheet metal, weldments, plastics, and detailing drawings.

Jibson Joy

Quality Control Coordinator

Jibson holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna university, a Masters in Thermal Engineering from Cochin university of Science and Technology, and a degree in Quality Engineering and Management from Lambton college. He worked for 2 years in the UAE as a Mechanical Engineer on large scale construction projects, one of them being the Yas Water park in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi and most recently worked as a Quality Inspector for Stratosphere Quality and Phoenix Quality inspecting parts for GMC and Honda. Jibson is also an ASQ Certified Technician.

Yamei Pang


Yamei holds a bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from China University of Petroleum and a master of Mechanical Engineering from Western University. Prior to Western University, Yamei worked as a design engineer in HELLA Automotive industry for two and a half years.


Sewing Team

This is where the magic happens! These ladies are master sewers and have spent many years working in the garment and furniture industries.

Production Team

Arconas's production team is a driving force in the upholstering of our furniture and assembling our power products. Some of the upholsterers have been working at Arconas for 15+ years and have spent the majority of their working careers in the upholstery industry. Their positions at Arconas are exceptional and untouchable!

Shipping / Receiving Team

The shipping and receiving team are an integral part of the production process. They are responsible for ensuring that your delivery is well packaged and shipped on-time. What's impressive about this team? They make it look easy!

Baldwin Thomas

Production Supervisor

Baldwin Thomas (a.k.a. Wayne) is Arconas's Production Supervisor. He has a deep passion for soccer, on and off the field and enjoys spending time with his children. His favourite sayings are 'the sky is the limit. Never take people for granted, and with God all things are possible'.

Duc Vuong

Warehouse Supervisor

Duc is Arconas' Shipping and Receiving Manager, and has over 18 years experience in the manufacturing and warehousing sector. After completing his studies in Accounting from Humber College, Duc received a certificate in the APICS CPIM Supply Chain Management and Master Planning of Resources courses.

Jenny Peng

Sewing Supervisor

Jenny Peng, Supervisor of the cutting and sewing department is a long-time employee of Arconas with over 15 years of service to our company. Jenny's experience is invaluable since she is responsible for creating custom designs for all of our seats and continues to refine patterns to improve the upholstering of slip covers.

Jenny's time management for meeting tight deadlines have helped the sewing team reach beyond allotted production schedules for major ongoing projects like Sacramento International Airport.

Although sewing is Jenny's main profession, it is also her favorite pastime.
