Place Public Seating Welcomes Emirates Airline

Place® Public Seating Welcomes Emirates Airline to Orlando International Airport. Public seating and personal space are two things Place and Emirates airplanes have in common.

Place® Power Stations – seating with integrated AC/USB power outlets and tablet arms with drink holders are interspersed throughout the terminal.

Starting September 1, 2015 Orlando airport will start receiving daily flights from Dubai, U.A.E. Airport operators were seeking airport terminal seating that mimics a first-class flying experience – the kind you get on Emirates Boeing 777-200LR. This bodacious airplane is built with eight First Class suites, 42 Business Class lie-flat beds and 216 Economy Class seats – a heavyweight flying machine build with comfort and premium amenities for long-haul flights.

Orlando airport wanted to provide Emirate’s passengers with a similar experience sitting at the gates as they would have on-board the plane.

Orlando Airport has major plans for future expansion, outfitting additional terminals with new seating equipped with power outlets, drink holders and tablet arms – just a few of the passenger amenities required to accommodate the ever increasing number of passengers travelling through the airport.
