As we continue to grow, we are looking for a General Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic manufacturing environment and contributing to business performance through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will:

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly financial statements, consolidations, and variance analyses
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform margin, cost, cash flow, and financial performance analysis
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
• Process payroll, commissions, bonuses, and royalty calculations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and bank covenant reporting
• Support GST/HST, PST, QST, U.S. sales tax, and other regulatory filings
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies
• Provide financial support to bidding, contracts, insurance, and operational teams
• Assist with ERP system maintenance and finance process improvements

What You'll Bring

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, lookups, and data analysis
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor is an asset)
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
