Chicago O’Hare International Airport’s stunning $1 billion Terminal 5 Expansion and Modernization project recently opened to the public. The new wing-shaped structure, made of white metal with a glass façade, is bright and modern, with an impressive vaulted ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide lots of natural light.

In the passenger waiting areas, Arconas’ Bernù Aero tandem seating in blue upholstery with pops of red, alongside Green Furniture Concept’s Nova C benches and planters, in warm wood tones, create an inviting atmosphere for passengers to enjoy the expansive views of the airfield.

inPower flex 3 power modules installed on every seat provides passengers with the ultimate convenience, ensuring they’re charged up for their journey.
USM modular gate counters were also installed, providing an updated and highly versatile counter solution that can effortlessly adapt to the ever-changing needs of the airlines.
Arconas is proud to have plated a key role in transforming this extraordinary new facility. We love seeing our diverse range of furniture options come together to create an amazing passenger experience.

In Terminal 2, the info desks also received a modern makeover, thanks to USM Modular Furniture modular counters.
These stylish, state-of-the-art info desks feature brochure holders, storage, integrated LED lights, and custom decals, but can be easily reconfigured and customized to adapt to the evolving needs of the airport, providing a timeless and sustainable solution that will endure for years to come.
Arconas takes immense pride in contributing to this exciting terminal revitalization.
